![]() ![]() In a sheer 1:1 resource damage ratio, the AC-1000 Terror is superior to the Broadsword. Like most air units that attack ground units, the Broadsword is more vulnerable to air units so is best when surrounded by Wasp Fighters.Ĭompared to the AC-1000 Terror Experimental Assault Plane ![]() It is more expensive than the Eagle Eye, and it has a weaker weapon but more armor and does not do bombing runs, instead staying in one place. It can also engage other gunships in a pinch. (This ability is found in the Infinite War DLC pack 1).The Broadsword Gunship is a UEF air unit. The new Afterburn ability allows the Rock Head to receive a large speed boost for a small amount of time, allowing it to charge into battle, or retreat at a much faster speed. The Railgun AA upgrade reduces this need however. Try to mix some Archanists with the Rock Heads so they fare much better against Gunships and Bombers.Although quite independent and capable of dealing with almost any target quickly, it is best to mix them with Demolishers, which provide more range and damage, better splash damage, and oddly enough, almost double the anti-air power of a Rock Head (Demolisher does 60).Although the Illuminate land units benefit from twice the amount of shielding, they lack any Health upgrades and thus do not match up to the Rock Head's durability. If a Rock Head goes through all 5 levels of veterancy (not likely to happen without considerable care), its health raises to 3375, not including the 150 health bonus from shields. ![]() Counting Health and Training upgrades, its health raises to 2625. When fully upgraded, the Rock Head Tank has more health than any other standard land unit in the game (that is, excluding ACUs and experimentals).Rock Heads however lack the special abilities of the other armies: Teleport, Hover, Jump Jets and Power Detonate often meaning that they can be out-manoeuvred rather easily.Superior to Titan Assault Bots, feature better health and offense than the Loyalist Assault Bot, and beats the Harvog Assault Bot in health and matches it in firepower (75 with Stacked Gauss Cannons.) It crushes the Yenzoo Tank in a straight fight in all categories except shielding, though Rock Heads have more standard health. Rock Heads are considered the best standard (non ACU/Experimental) unit in the game for raw firepower and health for their cost.Rock Heads have a less damaging AA weapon than the Titan.Titans should be used as raiders in the late game. Although they are best mixed with Titans in the early game, researching the "Stacked Gauss Cannons" makes the Rock Head a better choice with similar DPS, better range, and more armor. The second drawback is that an Experimental will certainly take down Rock Heads if their number is not large enough It has trouble taking them down, even with the Linked-Railgun AA upgrade researched. However, the tank has several disadvantages. The Rock Head is a remarkable foe to deal with other basic land units and, whilst produced en-mass, a troublesome base wrecker. Its upgrades include: Stacked Gauss Gun (adding a third barrel), Personal Shielding and a 'Linked-Railgun' SAM launcher. It is remarkably cheap and easy to produce making mass-production a cakewalk. The Rock Head is one of the UEF's starting land units.
